Mary M. Krasinski, 91, of Morrisdale went to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center emergency room.
Born Dec. 24, 1925 in Morrisdale, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Johanna Pillar.
On Feb. 10, 1940, she wed Matthew W. Krasinski, who preceded her in death Dec. 28, 1988.
Surviving are her children, William Krasinski, George Krasinski and his wife, Nina, Madeline Clark and her husband, Howard and Robert Krasinski and his wife, Laura Lee, all of Morrisdale, RD, and John Krasinski and his wife, Amy of Julian; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Pilosky and a daughter-in-law, Jane Krasinski. She was the last of her generation.
Mrs. Krasinski was a member of the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Morrisdale. She had owned and operated Mary’s Hoagie Hut in Philipsburg and Chester Hill.
She had worked for the former General Cigar, Philipsburg. She enjoyed farming life, gardening and being with her family during Sunday get-togethers, and she was an avid Bingo player.
Family and friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and again from 8:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Morrisdale, with Father David A. Perry Jr. as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Agnes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Morrisdale.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be given for masses.
There will be a luncheon after the service at the Morris Township Recreation Center, Morrisdale.
