Margaret Rose Stockley, 69, of Philipsburg died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 at the Colonial Courtyard in Clearfield.
Born Oct. 15, 1948 in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Clair Buchannon Creighton and Catherine (Hankinson) Creighton.
She married Ronald Lee Stockley on Aug. 8, 1970 in Altoona. He survives at home.
She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Philipsburg.
She was a retired teacher for the Philipsburg-Osceola Mills Elementary School. She was a 1966 graduate of the Altoona High School; she also graduated from Juniata College in 1969. She enjoyed quilting and crafts.
Along with her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Shari Ann Stockley-Thompson of Philipsburg and Lisa Stockley-Patalune and her husband, Aaron of Portage; one son, Ronald Christopher Stockley of Mount Gilead, Ohio; one brother, Thomas Creighton II and his wife, Sandra of Manheim; and nine grandchildren, Levi, Sophia and Tucker Stockley, Matthew and Jonathan Thompson and Bailey, Jackson, Casey and Shannon Patalune.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, with Pastor Michelle R. Bodle officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
