Michal M. “Shelly” Mease, 64, of (North) Philipsburg died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at her residence.
Born Jan. 21, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Paul Gallo Jr., and Elizabeth “Betty” (Richards) Gallo of RD Philipsburg.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, RD Philipsburg. She was a 1970 graduate of the Philipsburg–Osceola Area High School.
She was employed for many years as a front desk receptionist for Harbor Inn and as a school bus driver for Long Motor Buses, both of Philipsburg, until her retirement.
She was married Aug. 19, 1970 in Eden, NC, to her high school sweetheart, T. Scott Mease. He preceded her in death Aug. 11, 2017.
She is survived by a daughter, Monique Mease Adams and her fiancé, Nelson Berrios and one beloved grandson, Zachary Tyler Scott Adams, all of Altoona; one sister, Lisa M. Sievers and her husband, Alfred “Al” C. Sievers Jr., of (North) Philipsburg; two brothers, Wayne B. Gallo of Jersey City, NJ and Paul J. Gallo II and his wife, Marianne of Middletown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg.
