Richard A. “Dick” Reasinger Sr., 82, of DuBois died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born Aug. 24, 1935, he was the son of the late William Reasinger Sr. and Etha (Guiher) Reasinger.
On June 21, 1958, he married Barbara A. (Glatt) Reasinger. She preceded him in death Aug. 15, 2015.
He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves.
He retired from Triangle Auto Springs after more than 20 years of service. Prior to that, he, along with his brothers, owned and operated Modern Cleaners.
He was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was a member of the Middle Ridge Sportsmen’s Club.
He is survived by his sons, Richard A. Reasinger Jr. of Rockton, Jerry A. Reasinger of DuBois and Mark A. Reasinger of Colorado Springs, Colo.
He is also survived by four sisters, Marilyn Ross and her husband, Michael of Brockport, Karen Shobert and her husband, David and Marlene Fletcher, both of DuBois, and Diane Dandoy and her husband, Larry of Kersey.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Duane and William Reasinger Jr.; a sister, Linda Shaffer; and an infant sister, Cheryl Reasinger.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
