Clearfield’s Rumery, Curwensville’s Stewart Named to D9 Honor for 10/6 Games

SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. – Kane’s Erik DeLong and Karns City’s Clay Garing are the Week Six 2017 D9Sports.com District 9 Co-Football Players of the Week. 

Delong ran for 230 yards and four touchdowns in the Wolves 54-26 win over Bradford, while Garing did a little bit of everything in the Gremlins 35-34 victory over Clarion-Limestone running for 132 yards and two touchdowns, catching a 33-yard touchdown pass and going 5-for-5 on extra points including hitting the game-winning PAT with 35 seconds to play after his 5-yard touchdown run had tied the game at 34. 

Joining DeLong and Garing in being honored are 15 players on the District 9 Honor Roll. 

The Player of the Week and Honor Roll honors will continue through the conclusion of the regular season.
