DUBOIS – Director of Campus Ministry, Becky Dutra, worked with members of the senior class of DuBois Central Catholic to come up with a unique project in celebration of National Pro-Life Month.
Since the seniors make weekly visits to Christ the King Manor in DuBois to meet with the patients as part of their theology lesson, it was decided to invite some of the manor residents instead to gather in Central’s secondary library for an afternoon of music, activities and an ice cream social.
School officials say the event was a resounding success and certainly memorable for the manor residents as well as the class of 2018.
School officials would also like to give a special thanks to Christ the King Manor and its accompanying staff for helping to make this ‘Senior to Senior’ event possible.
