LHU Clearfield To Hold Strategic Thinking Seminar

CLEARFIELD – The Lock Haven Clearfield campus will be holding a free seminar on the topic of “Strategic Thinking.”

The program, co-sponsored by the Clearfield Chamber of Commerce, will focus on how people can think more strategically about the work they do and the decisions they make about their lives.

Specific examples will be given of when leaders have exhibited strategic thinking and when they have missed opportunities to lead strategically.

It will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. Oct. 20 at Lock Haven’s Clearfield campus in Founders’ Hall.

The presenter of the program will be Dr. John E. Park, director at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause LLP.

Park maintains a targeted consulting practice where he works with his clients on issues related to strategic planning, change management, enterprise risk management and leadership development. He supports the firm’s internal management and leadership development initiatives.

There is no charge for this seminar but reservations are required. Space is limited. To reserve a seat, contact Judy Hughes (jhughes@lockhaven.edu) or call 814-768-3401. The deadline to register is Oct. 16.
