Kibble is a warm and humorous tale about a young, vulnerable caterpillar named Kibble who’s afraid to turn into a butterfly.
Inspired by an unlikely mentor, Kibble discovers the joys of getting wings, the value of friendship and how to overcome his fear.
Focused on nature, the environment and respect for all living things, “Kibble” is a heartfelt coming-of-age story that engages young readers, parents and teachers through down-to-earth characters and entertaining yet meaningful situations.
Additional fun facts and information following the story explain metamorphosis, pollination and the life cycle of butterflies and moths in an easy-to-grasp, child-friendly way, making it a great resource for classrooms, museums and nature enthusiasts.
Designed as a pre-cursor to chapter books, this beautifully illustrated full-color read-along storybook includes an audiobook CD with optional digital download, word-for-word narration, easy to follow page turns and original sound effects, making it a joy for all ages young at heart.
