Creighton B. Hale Jr., 67, of Curwensville died Friday, Sept. 29, 2017 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.
Born May 17, 1950 in Clearfield, he was the son of Creighton B. Sr. and Gladys (Bloom) Hale.
Mr. Hale had been employed as a parts and general manager. He was last been employed by the former Kephart Trucking of Bigler.
He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America No. 0074. He was affiliated with the Hyde Wesleyan Church.
On Oct. 23, 1971 in the Oak Ridge Union Church in Carnwath, he wed the former Mona J. Kanouff, who survives.
He’s survived by four children, Lori Anne Cutler and her husband, Richard of New Millport, Mark Andrew Hale and his wife, Amanda and Jody Marie Socash, both of Curwensville, and Steve King of Bigler.
Also surviving are 20 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four brothers and two sisters, Kenneth Bloom and his wife, Eleanor, John Hale, Michael Hale and his wife, Michelle, Dorothy Hale and Lori Rose and her husband, Michael, all of Clearfield, and Charles Hale and his wife, Cindy of New Millport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Keith Hart and James Hale and a sister, Tina Lenhart.
Military honors will be accorded at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorial services for Creighton Hale Jr. will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday at the Hyde Wesleyan Church, Clearfield, with the Rev. Robert Croft officiating.
