Art Center Announces Upcoming Events

CLEARFIELD – The Susquehanna River Art Center of Clearfield (SRACC) has announced its upcoming events. The SRACC is now located at 124 E. Market St., in downtown Clearfield.

On Friday the SRACC will host a reception with the photographers in its membership. Refreshments will be provided.

Guests should also feel free to bring a photograph of their own to share. You don’t have to be a SRACC member to attend, and it’s an opportunity to learn and support local arts.

The 34th annual Juried Art Show will be open to the public Oct. 2. Its reception will be held from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library.

On Nov. 3, a murder-mystery dinner, “Montana Mari Gets Gunned Down at Three,” will benefit the SRACC. It will be held from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Clearfield Elks.

Chinese auction and small games of chance will be available, and there will be prizes for the best western costumes. Tickets are $35 each or $65 for a couple.

You can purchase tickets online at www.sracc.net, the SRACC office or The Liddle Gallery.

The SRACC thanks the community for supporting the arts in Clearfield. Follow its Web site for more information and upcoming events.
