Edna J. Krause, 80, of Osceola Mills died Monday, Sept. 4, 2017 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.
Born Nov. 6, 1936 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Edward Wales Conaway and Virginia Rebecca (Conaway) Conaway.
She married Sherman V. Krause on Dec. 25, 1952 in Osceola Mills. He preceded her in death Oct. 14, 2008.
Mrs. Krause was a member of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church in Osceola Mills. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Joan Opaliski and two brothers, Phillip and Rich Conaway.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon Miller and her husband, the Rev. C. Tim Miller of Tyrone, Judy Jones and her husband, Harold “Ted” Jones of Osceola Mills and Rebecca Merryman of Tyrone and her companion, Bill Whalen of Williamsport and one sister, Colleen Dixon of Bellefonte.
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Christopher, Michelle, Sherman and Sean Miller, Jason Jones, Jennifer Hoff, Amanda Yarger, Chad Muckey, Joseph and Angela Opaliski, Tiffany Myers and Kendra Greenawalt and 24 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. William Murphy and the Rev. C. Tim Miller co-officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. Thursday until funeral time at the funeral home.
