CURWENSVILLE – The Curwensville Branch Library is pleased to announce the beginning of Baby Time this fall. Registration for this newly offered class is currently under way.
Area babies 6 to 18 months and their caregivers are invited to participate in the four-week series to be held Thursdays in October at 9:30 a.m.
Class time will be 30 minutes. Babies and their caregivers will enjoy songs, lap-sit play, board books, rhymes, music, puppets and sensory play. Classes are free of charge, but donations are always welcome.
The PA Forward initiative, launched by the Pennsylvania Library Association (PaLA) in 2012, supports the efforts of libraries across the state as leaders in community education.
The five literacies of PA Forward will help guide discussions within the fall story sessions. With each week’s discussion, children will experience at least one of the five literacies as part of the PA Forward | Pennsylvania Libraries initiative.
For more information on the session or to register, please contact the library at 814-236-0355 during regular business hours.
The Curwensville Public Library is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
