Marjorie C. Bundy, 67 of DuBois died peacefully Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017 at her home.
Born March 11, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Franklin J. and Winifred (Lynch) Snyder. Her mother survives and lives in DuBois. Her father preceded her in death.
On Nov. 22, 1972, she married Gary R. Bundy. He preceded her in death Sept. 5, 2010.
She was a member of the Liaison Committee at the Cottages at Christ the King Manor.
She was a Christ follower who enjoyed the simple things in life and found joy in all of God’s creation. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and time with her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Carla Fillman and her husband, Barry Jr. of Reynoldsville and Dawn Anderson and husband, Scott of Brockway; a sister, Regina Golubski of DuBois; and seven grandchildren, Raegan Fillman and Jacob, Jordan, Jaden, Roman, Katherine and Christian Scott.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Albert Snyder; one grandchild, Sophia Fillman; one infant nephew, David M. Golubski; and a brother-in-law, Bill Golubski.
A celebration of life reception will be held at the Community Center at Christ the King Cottages on Friday, Sept. 8.
Guests are welcome to come and visit any time between the hours of 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. The Rev. Barry Fillman Sr. will offer brief remarks and a prayer to start the gathering of family and friends.
A dove release ceremony will conclude the afternoon’s reception.
