Williams to Speak at Ohio UMC Homecoming

OSCEOLA MILLS – Ohio United Methodist Church is pleased to announce that this year’s homecoming speaker will be the Rev. Richard “Dick” Williams.

He will be speaking at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday at the church, which is located at 2550 Ashland Rd., Osceola Mills.

Williams had been in ministry 10 years when he came to Ohio United Methodist Church on the Morgan Run Charge in 1985.

He served there for five years with his wife, Pam, and his two children, Seth and Erin, who were adopted while he was serving at the church.

“One of the things I really enjoy is that Pam and I share a strong ‘we’ ministry,” said Williams. “We are in this together and have often taught, visited and ministered together.”

Williams was also ordained as an elder in the United Methodist Church during his tenure.

“Now, 27 years later, our entire family holds a unique fondness for and a sense of belonging to the Ohio United Methodist Church, as they created a spiritual and welcoming precedent that few churches have equaled,” said Williams.
