Spikes defeat Scrappers to capture series win

Spencer Trayner locked things down with a five-out save, and the State College Spikes knocked the Mahoning Valley Scrappers out of first place in the New York-Penn League Pinckney Division as they clinched a series win with a 3-2 victory over the Scrappers on Monday night at Eastwood Field.
