DuBois City
- Police were dispatched to the 300 block of South Highland Street, where a vehicle was left in a driveway. Keys were inside it; however, there wasn’t anyone around. Upon arrival, police ran the driver’s plate but were unable to determine who was in possession of the vehicle. It was subsequently towed from the residence. When police spoke to witnesses, they had observed a Caucasian male in the area. He wasn’t wearing a shirt, had numerous tattoos and a cut above his left eye. Police located a male matching that description in the area of West Weber Avenue and South Main Street, and he was identified as Joshua Banks. He had an active warrant for his arrest, and he was taken into custody of police. Banks was transported to the police station, where his custody was transferred to a constable.
- Police received a report about credit card fraud. During the incident, someone allegedly used the victim’s information to open an account in his name and make multiple charges. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police were dispatched to McCracken Run Road due to people being behind a building when they shouldn’t have been there. Upon arrival, police observed two people standing next to a vehicle and vacuuming clothing in the parking lot. When police spoke to them, they stated they were cleaning themselves and their belongings after being in a house with bed bugs. Police requested that they leave the premises, which they did.
