CLEARFIELD – CNB Bank would like to remind residents of its 2018 Calendar Contest. It will again feature photos from the western Pennsylvania region with the theme, “Americana.”
Local residents – who are beginner, amateur or professional photographers – are encouraged to submit one or two of their photos online at www.CNBBank.bank through Aug. 6.
CNB initiated this contest to provide an avenue to feature local talent and the communities it serves through the eyes of residents as they’ve captured with their camera.
The Americana theme encompasses all things that help tell the story of “who we are and where we came from.”
It could mean anything from family heirlooms to well-loved toys, priceless artifacts and items of nostalgia to pop culture.
It could also mean things that are red, white and blue, an aged baseball glove or a restored car.
CNB is accepting photo submissions on its Web site through Aug. 6. Each entrant can submit up to two photos.

On Aug. 9, 12 winners, including a Best of Show, as well as 24 honorable mentions will be selected.
These photos will then be printed in the bank’s 2018 wall calendars, which will be distributed to customers beginning in November. The winners will be announced Aug. 11.
