Dorothy M. Armstrong, 74, of Clearfield died Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Penn Highlands Clearfield.
She was born Oct. 6, 1942 in Clifton, NJ, a daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Standard) Murphy.
Mrs. Armstrong was employed as a dental assistant throughout her life. She enjoyed being outdoors, animals and watching the birds.
Mrs. Armstrong also relished going to Parker Dam and taking pictures to cherish many memories. Above all, she loved her family.
She is survived by four children, Deborah Sharon Hudders of North Carolina, Thomas Armstrong IV and his wife, Caroline of Wilkes Barre and Dorothy Ann Sexton and her husband, David and Edward B. Armstrong, both of Clearfield; and the following grandchildren and great-grandchildren, David and Megan Eck, Margo and Robert Hudders, Haley, Tom, Jacob, Thomas V, Alicia and Alexis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Armstrong III on Jan. 25, 2015.
As per Mrs. Armstrong’s wishes, there will be no public services observed.
