Mendoza’s three hits not enough for Spikes

Evan Mendoza produced his seventh three-hit game of the season, but the Batavia Muckdogs’ big first inning was too much for the State College Spikes to overcome in an 8-4 defeat at Dwyer Stadium on Saturday night.
