Ronald Hayward, 74, of Clearfield died at his residence July 26, 2017. Born Nov. 17, 1942 in Houtzdale, he was the son of the late Philip and Velma (Bowman) Hayward.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
On July 12, 1969, he wed the former Ada Rowles in Glen Ritchey.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Richard (Dick), Clifford (Buddy) and Louis Hayward.
He is survived by his wife and brothers and sisters, LaRue Hayward, Phyllis Hayward, Bernice Hayward, Sharon Owens and her husband, David, Donna Ogden and her husband, Edward, Norman Hayward and his wife, Helen, Lee Roy Hayward, Velma (Toots) Smith and Kenneth (Butch) Hayward and his wife, Virginia.
Also surviving are children, Crystal Stephens, Melinda Bell and her husband, Mark and Brandi Hayward; and six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Reed Funeral Home in Houtzdale is in charge of the arrangements.
