K. Lorraine Bloom, 83, of Clearfield died Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Christ the King Manor in Dubois. Born July 10, 1934 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of George L. and Anna (Cramer) Valimont.
She retired from the Clearfield Hospital as a nurse after 29 years of service. She was a member of West Side United Methodist Church in Clearfield.
She was a former member of the Clearfield Curwensville Country Club, and she was a member of the Clearfield Hospital Nurses Alumni Association.
On Aug. 6, 1960 in Curwensville, she wed Donald D. Bloom, who preceded her in death Jan. 29, 2016.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, Francis and Delbert Valimont; and sisters, Martha Pentz, Cynthia D. Vaughn and Joann Perks Watkins.
She is survived by two sisters, Carol Ann Miguelino and her husband, Oliver of Texas and Gloria Jean Rosenberg and her husband, Erik of California and a brother, Roger Valimont of Michigan.
A public memorial service for Mrs. Bloom will be held at a later date.
