Pitching powers Spikes past Scrappers, 3-2

Sam Tewes delivered 7 1/3 solid innings on the mound, and Will Latcham got the State College Spikes out of some tough spots as they defeated the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, 3-2, on Tuesday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
