Della Ruth Saggese, 88, of Clearfield died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Saggese was born Nov. 4, 1928 in Philipsburg, the daughter of Jack and Eva (Shoffner) Weld.
She was a homemaker and loved to bake. She was protestant by faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Katheryn Wicker of Clearfield and Judy Hull and her husband, Bud of Olanta; five grandchildren, David and Andy Wicker, Terry Pritchard Jr., Peter Pritchard and Danielle Erickson; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward Weld of Tyrone; three sisters, Betty Laws of Rochester, NY, Jane Lefort of Clearfield and Janet Mann and her husband, Bernie of Osceola Mills; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bobbie, Leonard and Walter Weld; and a sister, Ilene Harvey.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc., of Clearfield with the Rev. John White officiating.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until the hour of services at the funeral home.
