Phillip Alan Simon, 31, of Clearfield died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born Oct. 26, 1985 in Orlando, Fla., he was the son of Patricia L. (Feick) Simon of Clearfield and the late Louie Alan Simon.
He had worked formerly as a chef. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed hiking and outdoor sports.
He is preceded in death by his father.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Jessica M. Simon Taylor and her husband, Brandon K. Taylor of DuBois; one brother, Jules A. Simon and his wife, Myree of Sarasota, Fla.; and a nephew, William Simon.
At Mr. Simon request, there will be no funeral service or viewing. Friends of the family will be notified of arrangements for a private wake in his memory.
