CAST Presents CLUE: The Musical

CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre Inc. in downtown Clearfield is bringing another mystery to the stage, and this time, the audience decides the ending.

The internationally popular game Clue is now a fun-filled musical, which brings the world’s best-known suspects to life and invites the audience to help solve the mystery: who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room and with what weapon.

The audience receives forms to help them deduce the solution from clues given throughout the fun-filled evening. Three audience members choose from cards representing the potential murderers, weapons and rooms; there are 216 possible solutions! Only one hard-nosed female detective is qualified to unravel the merry mayhem.

Comic antics, witty lyrics and a charming score carry the investigation from room to room. Even after the culprit confesses, a surprise twist delights the audience.

Lew Duttry serves as the director for this production.  Catherine Mandell is music director, with Mason Strouse on piano and Adam Moore playing percussion.

The cast includes Shawn Inlow as Mr. Boddy, Lisa Gormont as Mrs. Peacock, Alex Davis as Professor Plum, Rachel Duke as Miss Scarlet, Matt Hertlein as Colonel Mustard, Dave Laubacker as Mrs. White, Caleb Strouse as Mr. Green and Misti Bruner as the detective.
