Zita M. Hinderliter, 89, of DuBois died Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born Aug. 8, 1927 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Alvin “Frank” and Mary L. (McMahon) Hinderliter.
She was a clerk at Hays Drug Co., in DuBois for 30 years where she enjoyed her work.
She was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, and she enjoyed watching television, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates.
She is survived by a sister, Claudia Lyle of Brockport, a brother, Daniel “Boone” Hinderliter and his wife, Carol of Brockway and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary McManus, Margaret Harvey, Joanne Castiglione and Barbara Roper and a brother, Edward Hinderliter.
Friends will be received from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc.
A scriptural wake service will be held at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.
