Nancy Lee (Litzinger) Rickard, 70, a guest of Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation and formerly of New Millport and Curwensville, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Ridgeview.
Born Dec. 9, 1946 in Buckhorn, Pa., she was the daughter of Owen and Jessie (McClelland) Litzinger.
Mrs. Rickard had worked for Bayer Clothing Group in both the Kent Sportswear and Fletcherville divisions.
She was Roman Catholic by faith and a member of the St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville. She had also attended the Oak Ridge Union Church in New Millport.
Her hobbies were fishing and reading; she loved the outdoors and especially spending time with her family. She was a 1964 graduate of the Clearfield Senior High School.
Surviving are three children, Sueann Doran and her husband, Mickey of DuBois, Timothy Rickard and his wife, Sheila of Chester Hill and Darlene Lockett and her husband, Darcy of New Millport.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Christina Rickard and her partner, Terry Vaux of Clearfield, Mary Rickard of Warren, Jessie Mann and her husband, Steve of Reynoldsville and Jacob, Madalyn, Maggie and Holley Lockett, all of New Millport.
In addition, she is survived by five great-grandchildren and two sisters, Charlotte Clark of New Millport and Bessie Michael and her husband, Dick of LaJose as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Barbara Litzinger, Thelma Stevens and Audrey Mosley and four brothers Simon, Milton, Owen and Russell Litzinger.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with the Rev. Michael Knepp officiating. Burial will be in the Fruit Hill Cemetery, New Millport.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
