BECCARIA TOWNSHIP – An Wynnewood, Okla., man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in Beccaria Township, according to state police at Clearfield.
State police say Eric J. Huber, 46, was driving his Harley Davidson westbound on Union Street. He lost control of his motorcycle near the intersection with Westover Road.
Huber was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed while attempting to negotiate a left-hand curve. He subsequently struck several street signs on the south side of the roadway.
State police say Huber was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clearfield County Coroner’s office. State police were also assisted by the Glendale Fire Department and Madera EMS.
