Susan Lynn Cowder, 52, of Kylertown went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2017 at Geisinger Medical center, Danville.
Born July 7, 1964 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of the late Paul Dides and his wife, Margaret Curly Dides, who survives in Clearfield.
On Aug. 8, 1998, she wed Matthew J. Cowder, who survives in Kylertown.
Also surviving are a daughter, Koren Dides of Clearfield; a son, Justin Matthess of Chester Hill; and her siblings, Ronald Dides and his wife, Debbie of Poconos and Paula Dides and her companion, Richard, Janet Peters and her husband, Howdy and Cindy Howe, all of Clearfield.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Orvis and Eleanor Cowder.
Mrs. Cowder was a member of the St. Mary’s of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Frenchville.
She was a life member of the Clearfield Fire Co. No. 1. She loved quilting and sewing and also taking care of feral cats.
Graveside services were held at St. Severin’s Roman Catholic Church, Drifting, with Father Philip Billotte as celebrant.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date.

Funeral services are under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home, Grassflat.
