Terrance Robert “Terry” McCorkle, 68, of New Millport died Monday, June 19, 2017 at his residence. Born Feb. 28, 1949 in Clearfield, he was the son of John and Helen (McLaughlin) McCorkle.
Mr. McCorkle was retired from Soult’s Wholesale in Clearfield. He was a member of the St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church in Curwensville.
He was a member of the Indiana County Beagle Club. He was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
On Aug. 29, 1970 in Northeast, Pa., he wed the former Catherine G. Post, who survives, along with two sons, Brian D. McCorkle of Harrison Valley, Pa., and Michael P. McCorkle and his wife, Kristin of Elizabethville, Pa.
Also surviving are two grandchildren, Cohen and Rylie McCorkle; a brother, Gerald McCorkle and his wife, Kathi of Virginia; and two sisters, Mary Jo Lansberry and her husband, Gary “Huck” of Curwensville and Patricia Duttry of Lemoyne, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Matthew, Michael and Steven McCorkle.
At the request of Mr. McCorkle, there will be no public visitation, and private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church 306 Walnut St., Curwensville, PA 16833.
