CURWENSVILLE – The Curwensville Public Library invites area adults to “Build a Better World” this summer and sign up to participate in the Adult Summer Reading Program.
Sign-ups began June 6 and will continue through the end of the program on Aug. 8.
Recent 2017 high school graduates and older are eligible to join the adult summer reading program for free.
To sign up, interested individuals may visit the library during regular business hours. At registration, participants will receive the program guidelines, a reading log and a schedule of events.
The overall objective of summer reading is to motivate community members to read for fun and to visit their local public library.
To achieve this goal, all registered participants that read or listen to one book or more are eligible for end of the summer prize drawings. Additional tickets for the drawings can be earned by attending programs.
