Kathryn Verona, 99, of Inman, Kan., and formerly of Falls Creek, died Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Inman, Kan.
Born Dec. 24, 1917 in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Paul Sycalik and Mary (Hrin) Sycalik Rosio.
She retired from Brockway Glass after 28 years of service in June of 1981.
She was a member of the St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by three children, Paul Sycalik and his wife, Voundialee of Reynoldsville, Carol Lemen and her husband, Steve of Hutchinson, Kan., and Rosemary Schultz and her husband, Melvin of Spanaway, Wash.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister; three half-brothers; and three step-brothers and three step-sisters. She was also preceded in death by one great-grandchild.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Friday at the Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium Inc. with Fr. Edward Walk officiating.
Burial will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park in Reynoldsville.
