CLEARFIELD – A Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal is investigating a structure fire that occurred Wednesday on West Market Street in Clearfield, according to fire officials.
Upon arrival to the scene, firefighters located a working basement fire. Firefighters began “stretching a handline” for an initial attack.
Firefighters then located another fire on the second floor. Fire officials said it started as a result of extension through the HVAC system.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fires without issue and were on the scene for about two hours.
