State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of theft by extortion that occurred May 3 at a Houtz Lane residence in Halfmoon Township. It remains under investigation at this time.
State police at Punxsutawney
- Police received a report about an incident of simple assault that occurred May 9 at a Main Street residence in Burnside Borough. During the incident, a known 35-year-old man allegedly subjected the victim to an assault and unwanted physical contact. Charges were filed through the district court.
Clearfield Borough
- Police located a possible waterline issue along East Market Street. Clearfield Municipal Authority personnel were notified and responded to the scene.
- Police arrested a male for public intoxication after he was allegedly seen staggering on the roadway along North Third Street. According to police, he was also found to have an active arrest warrant out of Clarion County. He was subsequently taken to the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police received a report about kids who were playing around parked vehicles in a private lot along East Market Street. Upon arrival, police spoke to the kids and asked them to leave the premises.
- Police arrested a male for suspicion of DUI after he was observed weaving on the roadway and driving into a yard, which caused damage.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of trespassing. According to police, a representative from a local business stated that a person has been coming in after being told not to.
Lawrence Township
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a male who was reportedly passed out inside a vehicle on Supercenter Drive.
- Police received a report about an alleged drug violation that occurred on River Road.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male toward the rear of the Clearfield Mall. Upon arrival, police found he’d left the scene.
- Police were requested to check a fire in the 500 block of Wrigley Street, which was possibly burning too close to the homeowner’s shed. Upon arrival, police spoke with the homeowner and found there wasn’t a structure in any danger.
- Police received a report about a domestic disturbance involving siblings.
- Police conducted a warrant service in the area of Jury Street. According to police, a female was taken into custody and to the county jail on a Domestic Relations warrant.
- Police received a report about an alleged drug violation that occurred on 21st According to police, a female will be charged for having drug paraphernalia.
- Police received a report about a domestic disturbance in the area of the Clearfield – Shawville Highway.
- Police received a report about a possible drug violation that occurred at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.
- Clearfield Borough police were assisted with an intoxicated motorist in the area of High Street.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment at the Lawrence Park Village Apartments.
- Police received a report about a suspicious person in the area of Byers Street.
Morris-Cooper Regional
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Knox Run Road. According to police, Christopher Willis of Houtzdale backed out onto Knox Run Road, hitting a vehicle operated by Anthony Hunt of Wallaceton. Hunt was transported by personal vehicle to the hospital with minor injuries. Charges are currently pending the outcome of the investigation.
- Clearfield County Domestic Relations personnel were assisted with serving a warrant on Keith Billotte of Osceola Mills while he was in Munson. Billotte was taken into custody without incident.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation from a Munson resident. According to police, the operator of a silver minivan forced the resident off the roadway along Old Turnpike Road. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a dog being loose at the Nittany Mint Mart. According to police, the dog’s owner was located and it was returned to him. Also, police found its owner, Donald Musselman Jr., was wanted by the Clearfield County Domestic Relations Office, and he was taken into custody without incident.
