Two-Part Bird Watching Class Available to Local Seniors

PENFIELD – If you love watching and feeding the birds or have wanted to learn more about the birds that frequent your feeders and yard, then there class is for you. 

You can learn to identify and know the name of that beautiful bird you just saw, when they migrate and their habits.  

The Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging Inc., Clearfield County Center for Active Living and Carey Huber, environmental education specialist, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, will present a two-part Bird Watching Class on May 13 and June 17, from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the Environmental Education Classroom at Parker Dam State Park.

The class is open to seniors 50 years of age and older who live in Clearfield County.  Pre-registration is required and the class size is limited to 20 people.
