BROOKVILLE – The Brookville Lady Raider softball team picked up an 8-0 shutout win over visiting Curwensville Wednesday behind the five hit pitching of Carlie McManigle.
The Lady Tide did get two hits from sophomore second baseman Keisha Maines and two from left fielder Ariel Zattoni, also a sophomore.
Brookville had four players with two base hits each in Maggie Miller, Lauren Hergert, Jordan MacWilliams and Abby Sunealitis.
Hannah Kirkwood smacked a triple for the Lady Raiders while Leah Kammerdeiner had three RBI’s on the afternoon.
The Lady Tide (5-8) are off until Monday when they travel to Flinton to play the Lady Vikings of Glendale. The first pitch is scheduled for 4:30 pm.
