Dorothy L. Killion, 81, of Tyrone and formerly of Osceola Mills, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the UPMC Altoona Hospital in Altoona.
Born August 17, 1935 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret Gladine (Skelton) Vroman.
She married Earl C. Killion on Sept. 15, 1954 in Philipsburg. He preceded her in death Nov. 29, 1989.
Mrs. Killion was a member of the Osceola Mills Presbyterian Church.
She was retired from the former Clearfield County Library of Osceola Mills. She was a 1953 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Alan Killion and an infant son, Michael Killion.
She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Sankey and her husband, Jack of (Chester Hill) Philipsburg and Mary Beth Kensinger and her husband, Edward of Tyrone; one son, Earl A. Killion of Allport; one sister, Lenore Hughes of Philipsburg; and two brothers, Fred Vroman of Munson and John Vroman and his companion, Sherry Hemphill of Osceola Mills.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, John and Michael Sankey and Dale and Zachary Kensinger and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. D. Z. Lewis Jr. officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. Friday until funeral time at the funeral home.
