Dorothy M. Cantolina, 89, of Morrisdale went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at her residence.
Born April 29, 1927 in Morrisdale, she was the daughter of the late Robert Ward and Blanche E. (Hollabaugh) Hubler.
On June 17, 1945, she wed Anthony Cantolina, who preceded her in death Sept., 24, 1995.
Surviving are her children, Allen Cantolina (Anong) of Sayre, Pa., William Cantolina (Bonnie), David Cantolina and Carmela Burfield (Scott), all of Morrisdale, John Cantolina (Paul) of Alexandria, Va., Pat Cantolina of Clearfield, Gloria Schucker (Larry) of Rochester, NY and Marsha Butterworth (Allen) of Philipsburg; 25 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lillian Fenton (Norman) of Mill Hall.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Cantolina; grandson, Cody Cantolina; two great-grandchildren, Toby and Amanda Kanouff; and five sisters, Grace Hess, Frances Shroades, Roberta Sprout, Patricia Owens and Alma Hubler.
She was a proud wife and mother who watched her husband and six sons enter the military.
She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who shared her love of reading and crocheting with her family.
She was a member of the Gethsemane United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Thursday at the Gethsemane United Methodist Church, Allport.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Gethsemane United Methodist Church, Allport, with the Rev. James Hollister officiating. Burial will be in Centre Hill United Methodist Cemetery, Morrisdale.
