Library Thanks Capital Campaign Donors

CLEARFIELD – The Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library would like to thank the following donors for their generous support to our 20/20 Capital Campaign:

According to library staff, the current building will celebrate 20 years this month.  However, its roof has reached the end of its lifespan.

Also, the library’s operating expenses continue to increase while financial support from the state government has decreased in recent years.

The goal of the Capital Campaign is to not only pay for a new roof and other upgrades, but also to increase the permanent endowment so that staff can ensure a sustainable future for the library.

To learn more about the campaign, please visit the Web site at www.ShawLibrary.org and click the “Donate” tab.

The library staff members are extremely grateful to everyone that has donated thus far, putting them that much closer to their goal of $250,000 and a sustainable future.
