Priscilla J. Owens, 88, of Woodland died Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born Feb. 20, 1929 in Boggs Township, a daughter of the late Walton and Frances (Shaw) Stevens.
Mrs. Owens was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family.
She was affiliated with the Lake Street United Methodist Church, Woodland.
She was also a member of the former Main Street United Methodist Church of Woodland for more than 60 years where she held various offices.
She is survived by her five children, Edwin Owens of Watsontown, Brian Owens and his wife, Karen of Woodland, Shawn Owens and his wife, Debbie and Holly Carr and her husband, Robert, all of Morrisdale, and Michele Dixon of Clearfield; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Geynet H. Owens, on July 23, 2013.
She was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Ivan Ray Berringer, the son of Michele Dixon and Kevin Shane Owens, and the son of Shawn and Debbie Owens, and a daughter-in-law, Patti Lingle Owens, the wife of Edwin Owens.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with the Rev. Dave Jacobs and Pastor Sean Patrick Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Lake Street United Methodist Church, 115 Lake St., Woodland.
