He was the chief medical officer for Penn Highlands since 2007.

He graduated from the Neshaminy High School and went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree in biology from Wilkes College, where he graduated magna cum laude.

He is survived by his parents and his wife, Joy; his daughter, Nicole; two sons, Mitchell and Zachary; and his dog NimZ.

He is survived by his brothers, Steve, and Bill DuGan and his sisters, Cheryl Rupprecht and Kim Calicchio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends.

He enjoyed yearly trips with his family to Canada and Ocean City, NJ. He was a die-hard Penn State football and wrestling fan and, against his better judgement, a life-long Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium Inc.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium Inc. with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating.
