Joshua Wallace attended of the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) and was enrolled in the masonry program.
He is currently a masonry instructor at the Central PA Institute of Science and Technology (CPI). He knew he wanted a job doing hands-on work and not your typical desk job.
A friend of his father’s was a mason and that always interested him. While attending the CCCTC, he said that every day he learned something new that helped prepare him for his future in the masonry field.
He explained that along with the masonry background, you need to have a solid work ethic and be willing to work for what you want.
Wallace is only one example of how CCCTC graduates use their education to strengthen the industry in their field of study.
