State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of public drunkenness Wednesday on William Street in Ramey. During the incident, Harry G. Brown, 54, of Morrisdale allegedly engaged in a verbal altercation with a Ramey woman and then left the residence. He was located a short distance away. Brown was charged with public drunkenness and harassment through the district court.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief April 2 on Walker Street in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly threw a rock through glass doors at the front of the victim’s residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
Clearfield Borough
- Police located a juvenile who ran away after an argument and failed to return home. Police said that the juvenile was transported back to his residence.
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment by communications. Police made contact with the actor and gave a warning about his actions.
- Police received several parking complaints.
- Police assisted deputies from the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office with attempting to locate a wanted person along Park Avenue.
- Police assisted a motorist who had locked their keys inside their vehicle along North Third Street.
- Police received several reports about suspicious activity along Elm Avenue. According to police, vehicles were entered and rummaged through, and people were heard outside of residences. Residents are reminded to call police if they observe or hear anything suspicious.
Lawrence Township
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a female.
- Police assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle.
- Police assisted with traffic control for a wide load on the Clearfield-Shawville Highway.
- Police received a report about an alarm at the Moose Creek Water Treatment Facility.
- Police received a report about damage to unattended property due to a hit-and-run in the parking lot outside of the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet at the Clearfield Mall. Anyone with information is asked to contact township police.
- Police received a report about an alleged assault involving two juvenile females at the Clearfield Area Elementary School. It was downgraded to an incident of harassment, according to police.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about a woman who was crying hysterically while walking in the area of South Main Street and West Weber Avenue. Upon arrival police were unable to locate any female.
- Police received a report about a dog digging in the trash along West Weber Avenue. Upon arrival, police took the dog and went back to the station. Police located its microchip, identified its owner and it was picked up.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft at the Family Dollar Store. According to police, a male stopped the female suspect on the sidewalk, and she was located upon police arrival. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male and female walking down the middle of the roadway in the area of Maple Avenue and South Third Street. Upon arrival, police were unable to locate anyone in the middle of the roadway. Police said a male and female were observed walking along the roadway prior to the area of the call.
