CURWENSVILLE – On March 28, the Rotary Club of Curwensville welcomed Pat Domico, the coordinator of the Squirrel Tails for Trout, a fundraiser to stock trout in the Susquehanna River.

The fundraiser was started in 2005 by Domico, collecting unwanted squirrel tails from hunters (bone included) to sell to a fishing lure manufacturer in Wisconsin.

The funds from the sale are then used to stock the river. The fundraiser’s goal is to stock trout in the West Branch of the Susquehanna River between Clearfield and Curwensville for all to catch, release and enjoy.

Direct donations can be made by sending a check payable to Laurel Hill Trout Farm, c/o Pat Domico, 688 Washington Ave., Curwensville, PA 16833.
