If so, you should register for the Relay for Life of Central Clearfield County’s first-ever Bark for Life. The event will be held from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. April 23 at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds.
Registration forms are available at the American Cancer Society office, located at 26 S. second St., Clearfield, or at Jim’s Sports Center, located at 26 N. Second St., Clearfield.
Bark for Life will have a dog walk, DJ services by Dave Gardner of Lil’ Man Productions, food, fun, games, contests and friendly competitions for you and your favorite pooch.
Registrants can simply walk with their dog or enter one of the many fun categories: youngest dog, oldest dog, biggest dog, smallest dog, best costume, silliest dog trick, best dog trick and the fun owner/dog look-a-like contest.
The registration fee for each dog is a $10 donation to the American Cancer Society. Each registered dog will receive a free Bark for Life bandana.
Registrants may also enter the Top Dog competition during which they will collect donations via cans and campaigns.
The dog, which collects the most money for Relay for Life, will be crowned Top Dog of the day.
The winners’ photos will be taken, as well as having highlights of the day live-streamed on the Bark for Life Facebook page.

Vendor spaces are also available for the Relay for Life of Central Clearfield County’s first-ever Bark for Life.
For a $20 donation, your business or organization can be a part of the fun. Any animal advocacy non-profit is welcome to be a vendor for a special rate of a $10 donation to the Relay for Life.
Vendor forms are also available at Jim’s Sports Center or the ACS office.
