Healthy Alternatives at Quiet Creek Herb Farm

The public is invited to join the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging’s Centers for Active Living on June 7 to travel to Quiet Creek Herb Farm. 

Participants will learn about herbs, the use of herbal salves and also hear a presentation about “Gambling Away the Golden Years.”

The fun day is free and includes an organic Quiet Creek luncheon, prepared and grown on the farm, plus an herb salve of your choice, compliments of the Clearfield/Jefferson Drug and Alcohol Commission.  

The agency, in partnership with the Clearfield/Jefferson County Link to Aging and Disability Resources, is sponsoring free bus transportation from Clearfield to Quiet Creek Herb Farm, Brookville.

The bus will leave Wal-Mart, 100 Supercenter Dr., Clearfield, promptly at 8 a.m. and should return to Clearfield at approximately 2 p.m. Reservations are required and will be accepted until the bus is full.

Quiet Creek Herb Farm & School of Country Living is a non-profit, charitable, educational organization dedicated to increasing the public understanding of the importance of conserving natural resources, thinking ecologically and living healthfully and sustainably.
