CLEARFIELD – The paintings of Rebecca Ogden are now on exhibit at Lock Haven University’s Clearfield campus, and the public is invited to view.

Ogden, a native of Lansdale, Pa., has lived in the Clearfield/Houtzdale area since 1985 and Curwensville since 2002.

As a non-traditional student, she graduated in 2015 from LHU Clearfield with a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

Her exhibit is currently open through May 15 at LHU Clearfield’s Founders’ Hall.

Aside from her interest in law enforcement, Ogden has always had a creative flair, getting her initial inspiration from watching Bob Ross.

A member of the Susquehanna River Arts Center, she also has a stone/crystal obsession and is deeply interested in the natural world.

She began creating jewelry in 2015. Ogden participates in many local events and will be exhibiting in the inaugural Arts and Crafts Fair at LHU Clearfield on May 20.

LHU Clearfield is proud to partner with the Susquehanna River Arts Center on various exhibits, which are always open to the public.

Different artists will be featured during the exhibits throughout the year. Founders’ Hall is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Fridays.

Any artists interested in having work displayed may contact Rebecca Ogden at cloverbean@hotmail.com.
