CLEARFIELD – With weather conditions improving, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has lifted restrictions that had been in place on various roads in the region.
PennDOT has restored normal speed limits on Interstate 80 in Clinton, Centre and Clearfield counties and on I-99 in Centre County.
PennDOT has also lifted the restriction for trucks to use the right lane only on Route 322 westbound (Seven Mountains) in Mifflin County.
PennDOT is continuing to treat roadways in the area and will continue until roads are clear.
Motorists are advised to continue to use caution while traveling as there could be areas of blowing and drifting snow across the region as winds pick up today.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com.
