Marion J. Kizer, 84, of Osceola Mills died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.
Born Feb. 16, 1932 in Braddock, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Howard and Ruth (Hugill) Gerhart. She married Calvin Kizer, who preceded her in death May 11, 1969.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Philipsburg.
Mrs. Kizer was a registered nurse since 1958 and retired in 1994. She was a 1950 graduate of the Pitcairn High School and of the Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing in the class of 1958.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Gerhart and his wife, Margi Gerhart.
She is survived by two nieces, Bobbi Zieglar and her husband, Eugene of Irwin, Pa., and Becky Bronson and her daughter, Dawn of New Alexandria, Pa., and one nephew, William Gerhart and his wife, Karen of Crabtree, Pa.
A memorial service will follow at a later date. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
There will be no visitation.
