Obituary Notice: Malcolm L. “Mack” Williams

Malcolm L. “Mack” Williams, 71, of Wallaceton died Friday, Nov. 25, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born Feb. 8, 1945 in Wallaceton, he was a son of the late Luther and Regina (Hummel) Williams.

He was a 1963 graduate of Philipsburg High School. He worked as a heavy equipment operator in the stripping’s and then later for PennDOT; he retired in 2007.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and attended the First Baptist Church, Philipsburg.

On May 17, 1975 in Philipsburg, he married Mary Kay (Fenton) Williams, who survives at home.

He is also survived by twin sons, Ted Williams of Pittsburgh and Jack Williams and his partner, Mark Panichella of Pittsburgh; a brother, Darl Williams and his wife, Sally of Bainbridge; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Williams of Bainbridge, Arlene Williams McCarty of Millersville and Wilda Williams of Morrisdale; and two grandchildren, Patrick Malcolm Panichella and Keaira Sue Panichella.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin Williams, Ronald Williams and John Williams and two sisters, Patricia English and Kathryn Smeal.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, Philipsburg, with Pastor Ted G. Seibert officiating. Burial will be at Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton.

Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
